Time: 1 Mile Fun Run: 6:30pm    5K: 7:00pm

Fee: 5K - $20         1 Mile Fun Run - $10

Location: First Baptist Church, 702 Elizabeth St., Waycross, GA - Downtown Waycross

Awards: T-Shirt to 5K runners/walkers; Medals to all Fun Run runners / walkers

Trophy to 1st & 2nd Overall male & female; Trophy to Masters (over 40), Grand-Masters (over 50), male & female

Trophy to 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male & female in each age group (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & older)

Is this a charity run?    Yes, absolutely all proceeds from this race will go to the Mary Street Mission.

 

What happens if it rains?   That depends….If we get a little rain we will still run the race. However, if we get lightning or very heavy rain we will wait until the next Saturday to run the race.

I know that running a road race is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and run unless I am medically able, physically fit and properly trained. I assume any and all risks associated with this event including but not limited to falls, contact with other participants, effects of weather, including heat and/or humidity, and traffic and the conditions of the roads, all such risks being known and acknowledged by me.

I agree to abide by all decisions of the race officials relative to my ability to safely complete this run. Knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators or anyone else who might claim on my behalf, covenant not to sue, and waive, release and discharge all First Baptist Church, race officials, volunteers and all sponsors including their agents, employees, assigns, or anyone acting on their behalf from any and all claims or liability for death, personal injury or negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. This Release and Waiver extends to all claims of every kind and nature whatsoever, foreseen or unforeseen, known or unknown. The undersigned grants full permission to First Baptist Church and/or agents authorized by the organization to use any photographs, videotapes, motion picture or another record of this for any legitimate purpose.
