King & Prince Seafood Committed to Healthy Lifestyles
![]()
In 2007, King & Prince Seafood commtted to reinforce and encourage healthy lifestyles, especially with exercise and physical fitness. A company running group was formed. Running shirts were designed, purchased and distributed with encouragement to join the many local runs in our area. It is not unusual for the King & Prince Team to win the largest Team award in race; as they come out in force at our local races as well runs in Waycross, Jesup, even Jacksonville for the Gate River Run plus Atlanta for the Peachtree Road Race. When corporate logos changed in late 2010, new shirts were designed and purchased, and the biggest ever showing occurred on a cold November day in 2010 at the Veterans Day 5K run. The King and Prince Seafood philosophy is to support local events, and associated charities, and bring along as many of our 300 closest friends for the health & fun of it!
Additionally, in 2010 a hearty band of King & Prince employees committed to producing a trail run on the campus of the College of Coastal Georgia. With corporate endorsement, this 4-mile trail run was conducted in 2010 and 2011 with great success and support from the GITC and the College of Coastal Georgia.
